The Gresleys is a residential street in Ross-On-Wye.
A street where we all get along with each other, have some fun,
and raise some money for various charities at the same time.
 
In 2006 we held a Gresleys Christmas Lights Switch-on evening
with Tombola, raffles, hot-dogs and FREE coffee, soft drinks, mince pies and cakes.
We raised £850 for the Macmillan Appeal.
 
Due to the unbelievable success of the event, we have held it every year since with even greater success.
This year, we raised a record £1700 !! including some very generous donations.
 
We also enter Ross-On-Wye Carnival, have the occassional skittles evening, and last year we joined in the
National Big Lunch Event.
 
Residents from all ages take part and help arrange these events, not just old codgers like me !
It’s a way of meeting new neighbours and having some fun, long may it continue !
